Absztrakt
A hazai epidemiológiai adatok azt mutatják, hogy a magyar lakosság nem szenved általános ásványi anyaghiányban. Érdekes módon, a külföldi tapasztalatoktól eltérően, itthon inkább kalcium és kálium hiány, valamint magnézium többlet a jellemző. Ebből következik, hogy Magyarországon a hiány pótlására, de a magnéziumpótlás visszaszorítására kellene törekedni. Ezt elsősorban preventív intézkedésekkel, az étrend és élelmiszerek helyes megválasztásával célszerű megvalósítani. A nem megfelelő ionpótlás ugyanis veszélyeket hordoz, ezért csak indokolt esetekben és célzottan kell ezt választani.
